Dear Friends,
The unseasonably warm weather this winter hopefully will lead to a pleasant spring season. This past month we were fortunate to host Iranian feminist activist Masih Alinejad during Peace Week. It was inspiring to hear Masih’s testimony, as she recounted both her and her family’s tribulations fighting against an oppressive regime. This March, as we celebrate Women’s History Month, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to all women, but especially brave leaders like Masih who have dedicated their careers and indeed their lives to push for equal rights, fight against oppression and misogyny.
