“Friends did a wonderful job preparing me for college.”
What is your fondest memory from your time at Friends Seminary?
I have great memories of eating lunch in the courtyard and across the street in the park when the weather was nice. I also have fond memories of advisory breakfasts in the morning. I really find myself missing art classes, it was nice to have dedicated time in our day to express ourselves creatively.
When was the last time you were at Friends and what was the reason for your visit?
My brother graduated from Friends in 2018, and I was there for the ceremony.
Briefly describe your transition from FS to college, how do you feel you were prepared?
Friends did a wonderful job preparing me for college. I felt like I was really able to focus on what was exciting me and my learning rather than worrying about workload. While high school was certainly not easy, I was appreciative of the preparation Friends gave me.
Can you share where you are currently working and what your current role involves?
I am a 3rd year medical student at the University of Rochester. This year involves clinical rotations in all specialties before applying to residency this fall. Currently I am considering Emergency Medicine and OBGYN.
Your ten year Reunion is this year, what are you excited for?
Excited to see all my friends! Any excuse to get together is always celebrated!
