Last month faculty and staff welcomed students at the door to usher in the 2022-2023 school year. It is an exciting time, especially in the Lower School as those in Kindergarten begin their Friends journey. Click here to see a video from the first day.
In this month’s newsletter you will hear from a teacher at each grade level about what they have planned for their students and what they love about Friends (see "School News"). Friends is also celebrating Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month. Upper School students recently kicked off the celebration by making posters and will have additional events through October 15. After a particularly warm summer, it is my hope that the return of fall will re-energize you and bring about a season of good fortune.
