Dear Friends,

Spring is finally upon us! Since the last newsletter there has been a lot of excitement at the School and within the Friends community. The James Turrell Skyspace is now open to alumni and the public. We are excited to now be offering monthly public viewings that can be reserved via the website - if you have any questions about the art work or would like to visit at another time, please reach out.

This year’s Friends Seminary Benefit was held at Pier 60 and was a great event. Guests enjoyed a lovely evening filled with amazing art from the Friends community and other artists as well as performances from Friends upper school students. To see more photos from the event click here.

After a much needed spring break, students, faculty and staff have returned to campus ready to finish the school year strong. I have been fortunate to work with a great group of volunteers to prepare for Reunion 2024! I look forward to welcoming all alumni back to 16th Street, especially those marking a Reunion year. We will have fun and exciting new additions to the program including a 3 vs 3 soccer match on the skyfield (the soccer field located on the rooftop of Friends Seminary), a performance of Middle School students, the highly anticipated Music and Storytelling with Kindergarten teacher Judy Anderson ’66, and so much more. I also look forward to celebrating retiring faculty Judy Anderson ’66, Larry Carter and Bob Rosen as our Emeriti honorees.

I hope you’ll join us through the weekend for the chance to meet new and old faces alike. All Alumni are welcome to attend. Click here to register for Reunion 2024.

In stewardship,

Michael Mudho

Director of Alumni Relations
