Dear Friends,

As we returned to School following spring break, we were off to the races to prepare for a number of events and the final weeks of classes for the students. In April, we welcomed back to campus nearly fifty alumni who attended the Alumni Council’s 6th edition of the We’re All Grown Ups Now series (this year with Faculty Emerita, Linda Chu), our annual alumni career panels, as well as impromptu visits from alumni wanting to pay their respects to their beloved alma mater.

By now, you should have also received your formal printed invitation to this year’s Reunion and an email reminder to register to attend. At the Emeritus Ceremony, we will honor Head of School Bo Lauder and Lower School teacher Courtney Retzler, who have served Friends for a combined sixty-five years. In this month’s newsletter, I am pleased to feature the Class of 1975 Reunion Planning Committee, whose teamwork and collaboration we hope will serve as a model for future classes to emulate, and David Williams '23, Manager of the Duke University Men’s basketball team, for our Graduate of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D.) spotlight.

We continue to strive for excellence and welcome your insight on how we can improve. Please share your valuable thoughts through our Alumni Engagement Survey, accessible here. Your feedback helps us better serve and connect with our growing alumni network.

In stewardship,

Michael Mudho

Director of Alumni Relations
