Luigi Caiola (Board Member and Parent)

It is with tremendous sadness and grief that the Caiola family announces the passing of Luigi Caiola on Sunday, November 26, 2023, in Miami, Florida. Luigi is deeply mourned by Sean McGill and their three children, Maria '24, William '26, and Adam McGill Caiola '26, his mother Bettina Caiola, and siblings Alfred, Jaime, Benny, Bora, Rose, and Eddie. He will be dearly missed by his heartbroken aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, colleagues, a multitude of friends, and all who knew him. His legacy will live on through his beautiful children, his family, his many philanthropic contributions, and his great cultural influence on the Broadway community and the city he loved so much. In lieu of flowers, the Caiola family has requested that donations be made to Family Equality, an organization that was near and dear to Luigi’s heart.

He has served as a Parent Association Class Parent, host of grade potlucks and Admissions events dedicated to the School’s Diversity & Inclusion efforts. Luigi has served as a member of the Board of Trustees from 2019 to 2023.
