The Fund for Friends Advances School’s Quaker Mission

For decades, gifts to the Fund for Friends (annual giving) have advanced the School’s Quaker mission by providing funds for financial aid, salaries and programs that may not be supported through the normal operating budget, such as Peace Week and Global Education trips. The Fund grew throughout the pandemic, showing the strength of the community and the commitment to our Quaker mission. Judy Brown, Director of Annual Giving, comments, “We are grateful to the more than 75 volunteers who are the engine of the Fund for Friends. Last year more than1,048 gifts were received totaling $2.8M, an all-time high for the School. We’re looking forward to the year ahead!" Click here to learn more about the Fund for Friends.

Twenty Upper School students traveled to Niagara Falls in 2021 to explore the history of hydroelectric power, on both the American and Canadian sides of the river, through guided tours and immersive experiences as part of Friends' global education program.
