Careers in Law Networking Event

On December 1, 2025 Friends Alumni were treated to a tour of the NYC Civil Courthouse led by

Justice of the Appellate Division, First Department, Peter Moulton '77. Following the tour alums engaged in thoughtful conversation about law school, careers within the legal field and their time at Friends Seminary.A The networking portion of this event was hosted by Heidi Reavis '77 at Reavis Jump Page LLP’s office in midtown.

After the event, Jamie Palladino '22, one of the younger alums in attendance, shared the following, “It was a wonderful event! We received a tour of the beautiful Appellate Division First Department by Justice Peter Moulton '77 and we learned a lot about the architecture and art of the courthouse as well as the daily workings of the court. At the networking event afterwards, I listened to interesting and engaging stories from Friends Seminary alumni about how they entered the legal profession and their work in their respective fields. I received such insightful advice that I will take with me into my own decision about my future career! Thank you to everyone who made this amazing event possible!”
