Class of 1957
As reported by John Schwartz
First, the good news. After several bounced emails, Michael Marvin has been found, retired and still living in Monroe, New Jersey (not far from Princeton). On the sad side, I (John Schwartz) lost my wife of 55 years, Sandy, to complications of cancer on April 13. I recall our late classmate Wendy Weil once telling me that Sandy and I had been so inseparable at Friends reunions that she (Wendy) had forgotten that Sandy was not in our class. If you have any questions or concerns, let me know.
Class of 1967
Pierre Lehu has been appointed to Community Board 10.
Class of 1971
As reported by Laura Ward
I hope all of you and yours are well and happy. A few of our classmates responded to my request for news. Nikki Sharpe wrote that she is enjoying life in Sant Fe, New Mexico. Ellen Wertheimer sent news that she has retired after 40 years of teaching at Villanova Law School and is enjoying the slower pace of life that that has brought with it. Apparently their dog, Jasper, is enjoying Ellen’s retirement, too. Margaret Alban reported “Nothing too different here, which I guess is as good as it normally gets!” She is still very involved in chairing their local Planning & Zoning Commission and, to a far lesser extent, influencing State legislation. Her passions remain historic preservation, enhancing green spaces, and sustainable development. She has implemented new approaches to housing affordability, energy efficiency and more robust planting requirements. I am still working, but facing mandatory retirement next year. Time to think about my next chapter. Perhaps we can arrange an informal get together sometime over the summer.
